VoyagerX (the “Company”), in providing vFlat (the “Service”), considers the protection of the user’s personal data extremely important. In order to comply with relevant laws such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and the Personal Data Protection Act, the Company has established and abides by this Privacy Policy (hereinafter “Policy”).
The Policy may be revised due to changes in related laws, government guidelines, or the Company’s internal operating policies. If this Policy is changed, the changes will be announced on a screen that users can easily see (for example, on the first screen of the Service). If you have any inquiries regarding this Policy, you can provide feedback through the feedback channel within the Service or through the customer inquiry channel on the Company’s website.
1. Items of personal data collected and purposes of use
- In order to provide the Service, the Company collects only the minimum personal data necessary, as described below.
- The Company automatically collects certain information that is generated during the user’s use of the Service or in the course of business operations, such as service usage records, OS type and version, access logs, advertisement identifier, and device information. The Company uses this information for user analysis and service improvement purposes.
- For the purpose of customer service and providing better support, the Company collects the user’s email address, user identifier, device information (OS, model name, manufacturer, system language, memory and storage capacity, graphics driver, camera, performance), and app information (app version, subscription status) when receiving user inquiries, in order to identify the inquiry and provide a response. Additionally, the user may send the Company data related to errors or problems that occurred during service use (such as image files) for more accurate error diagnosis. This is not mandatory information that the Company collects, and the Company does not use this personal data for any purposes other than those specified in this clause.
- The Company collects image files only from users who wish to use the text recognition function or the Send to PC function, in order to provide these functions and diagnose errors. In this case, the image file may contain unstructured personal data that can identify a specific individual. The Company processes this information only for the purpose of performing the text recognition/text generation requested by the user and sending the scanned image to the PC, and deletes the information within 24 hours after the text recognition and text generation are completed.
- In order to provide the Send to PC feature and for statistical analysis, the Company collects information regarding the execution and operation of the PC client.
- For users who utilize the login service via Google or Apple, the Company collects the user’s email address, name, and profile photo (profile photo is collected only for Google users) for the purpose of providing the login service and managing membership.
